Marketing Used Equipment

Jason Hoult, president of Anvil App Works, and Casey Seymour, Moving Iron Podcast host, discuss how DealerConnect CRM/I helps with marketing and valuing equipment.

Kicking off the podcast Seymour explains the troubles dealers have keeping their records up to date. “Understanding what equipment, you have and who you are going to sell to is a pivotal part of the overall conversation with your customers,” he says.

Hoult shares what DealerConnect CRM/I can do to help a salesperson keep their records current. “It’s having readily available what you know about that equipment, and anyone can access it,” he says.

In addition, Hoult explains how marketing equipment has improved, “We used to treat every lead the same but now we know a lot more about a customer that’s coming in.”

He says whether they are a current or new customer there’s tracked analytics following their purchasing habits. “This is where technology can be your friend, swarming on leads and acting on them in the urgency they need.

“It’s all-around data, which drives customer marketing, customer engagement, and drives sales  which is the best ROI we can think of,” he adds.

Seymour mentions how Anvil App Works and Tractor Zoom’s Iron Comps are a perfect partnership to drive leads.

Hoult adds that it saves location, time, and accuracy: “The automation of getting leads from Tractor Zoom’s website or online credit applications come in and you get more information. Creating a better customer experience and that’s what’s moving iron right now.”
